STORY BEHIND cupcakees by missy

I created Cupcakees By Missy from a vision and passion that I have for baking. Anything yummy and sweet in the kitchen is fine by me! I worked in the corporate world for years. After some time, I started to feel like a bit “stuck”. I enjoyed my job, and had a great group of co-workers that to this day remain amazing friends. However, I wanted something more. I wanted a place that I could call my very own. Something to offer. I loved to bake and I enjoyed my days in the kitchen. The idea of Cupcakees By Missy was born.

In 2014, I created and launched Cupcakees By Missy, offering personalized cupcake catering. It has taken me nearly 7 years to build my small business. I did keep on with the corporate world mostly out of necessity, being a single mom and most recently, putting my youngest through college. As of June, 2019, I was able to retire from the corporate world and enjoy a few months of rest in my new home of Northern California.

Now, here we are. Cupcakees By Missy is ready to thrive and build onto greater things! I am so glad you are here. Now… lets get baking!
